Agakerim Shariphov

Agakerim Shariphov (1899-1942) was an Azerbaijani actor and pedagogue, Notable historian of theatre, investigator, great labour of theatre figure, employee of the Baku turkey worker theatre, director of the theatre museum.

Theatre museum was opened in Azerbaijan in 1934. in 1935 is was named after Jafar Jabbarly. Agakerim Shariphov was the first director of the museum. He was a teacher in the Baku turkey worker theatre from 1923. he had opened first exhibition with help of first graduates of the technical school in 1926. Exhibition is opened in the foyer of the theatre . Theatre department is opened in the state museum in 1927. He led to museum till 1942.
