Mustafa Guliyev

Mustafa Guliyev (1893-1938) – was an Azerbaijani critic, Literary critic, Publicist. Mustafa Zakariyya oglu Guliyev was born in Sheki, 1893. he finished gymnesium in Tbilisi. He got education in the Physical and mathematical faculty of the Kiev university. He has worked in the positions as Chairman of the Lankaran revolution committee (1920), Secretary of the Qaraşəhər District Committee (1921-1922), editor responsible in the "Maarif və mədəniyyət", "İnqilab və mədəniyyət" magazines (1923-1926; 1929-1932).

He was arrested in 1938, charged with treason as "the enemy of the state". He is the author of books such as "Mədəni inqilab və islam" (1928), "Türk qadınının yolu" (1930), "Oktyabr və türk ədəbiyyatı" (1930) "Cinayət nədir və hardan baş verir" (1935) .
