Aziza Jafarzadeh

Jafarzadeh Aziza Mammad qizi (1921-2003) – writer, Literary critic, Public figure, Doctor of Philology, Professor, from 1946 she is member of Writers Union.

Aziza was born in Baku, 1921. She got education in Theatre school. During 1942-1944 she had worked as teacher in Agsu secondary school. She graduated from Azerbaijan state university during 1946-1947. She had worked as Head of the scenario department in the "Azərbaycanfilm" film studio named after Jafar Jabbarly during 1944-1946 , chief of the theatre technical school during 1947-1949 , Assistant professor and chair head in the teachers training institute during 1950-1955, assistant professor in the Pedagogical Institute in Kamchatka 1956, Head scientific worker In the institute manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan during 1957-74, from 1974 as professor in Baku State University. Her first article "Əzrayıl" has been printed in "Ədəbiyyat" newspaper in 1937. first book has been printed in Moscow, 1948. she helped poor people.

She died on 4 September, 2003.
