Askerov Ali Rahim oglu
( Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theatre)

Ali Askerov was born in Baku, 1961. He graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservaroty named after U.Hajibeyov.

Since 1990 he is the soloist of the theatre. His main roles -

"Aida" - Msir şahı

"Karmen" - Suniqa

"Sevilya bərbəri" - Bazilio

"Traviata" - Markiz Dobini

"Toska" - Məhbus

"Riqoletto" - Sparafuçilli

"Boqema" - Alsindor

"Koroğlu" - İbrahim xan

"Vaqif" - Vəzir

"Şah İsmayil" - Qoca ərəb

He is the "Qran Pri" Prize-winner in 1997, 1st internatioanl competition named after Bulbul.

The actor participated in international theatre festivals such as – 17th international Opera festival named after F.Shalyapin in 1998 in Kazan, Berlioz festival in 2000 ( France), International festival of opera performers in Samara, international opera festival in 2001.

In 1998 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Republic
