 Conductor of symphonic orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. As head conductor he has conducted more than 30 opera and ballet spectacles. Professor, People`s artist of Azerbaijan, State prize laureate.
Conductor Rauf Abdullayev was born in 1937. He graduated from ASC named after U. Hajibeyli (1959) and LSC (1965).
in 1965-1984 he was the head conductor of the ASOBT named after M. F. Akhundzadeh, is one of the creators of Modern musical camera orchestra and Bakara ensemble at the 70th, since 1984 Artistic director and head conductor of ASSO, 1991-1994 Artistic director and head conductor of Ankara SOBT, has conducted with famous collectives at the international music festivals and projects in a number of countries such as Russia, Germany, Holland, France, Turkey, USA, Dubai and others. Europe, Russian and Azerbaijan composers plays have been included to his repertoire.
