Kamal Abdullayev
(18.1.1927-5.12.1997)

He was born in Baku. He graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1948) and Moscow State Conservatory (1952). he has worked as conductor in the ASOBT (1952) and head conductor (1953-1959), later he has worked as head conductor in the Donetsk OBT and MMT. he was awarded the title of People`s artist (1967). He has conducted a number of operas such as « Eugene Onegin» by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, «Esli and Kerem» , «Leyli and Majnun» by Uzeyir Hajibeyli, ballet such as «Seven beauties» by Gara Garayev, «Gulshen» by S.Hajibeyov.
