Suleyman Aleskerov
(1924-2000)
Peoples artist of Azerbaijan, famous composer Suleyman Aleskerov was Music public figure. Aleskerov`s rich heritable creative work has very wide diapason. He addressed to different genres. Here included symphony, cell instrumental works, cantatas, romances.
Composer was borin in Shusha, 1924. he got his first education in Shusha Music school. He graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatory. He led to Baku music school during 1948-1949. In The Great Patriotic War years he wrote symphonic poem "Məhəbbət gülü" dedicated to Hazi Aslanov .
He had written musical comedies too such as "Milyonçunun dilənçi oğlu", "Ulduz". His later works included "Bahadır və Sona" ( put on stage in Opera and Ballet theatre in 1962), "Oktyabra salam", "Vətənə eşq olsun", "Bahar təranələri", "Bir bayraq altında" cantatas, "Çingız İldırım" vocal poem. He had written a lot of works for Folk musical instruments orchestra such as "Aşıqvari", "Tarantella", "Xəyala dalarkən" .
Besides that, the composer composed music too- "Neftçi qız", "Xəzər neftçisi", "Pambıqçılar", "Sərvi xuramanım mənim", "Vətənimdir", "Neylərəm".
He had worked as Chair head in Azerbaijan State Conservatory from 1957 and later had worked as director in Shusha branch.
