Asaf Zeynally
(1909 - 1932)
Asef Zeynally was born in Darbanda. He got first education in Darband, later in 1923 he got education in Baku Conservatoire. While styding at the Conservatoire under the admnistration of Uzeyir Hajibeyli He learns deeply bases of the folk music. His later works included - "Şikəstə" (Chorus for orchestra), "Çahargah", "Durna", "Muğamsayağı". Later he composed music for the lyrics "Hindistan qızı", "Sevil" by Jafar Jabbarly.
After graduating Conservatoire he works on the Big capacious works and wrote suite "Fraqmentlər".
During 1920-1930 he wrote his the best romances - "Olkəm", "Sual", "Seyran", "Sərhədçilər".
His works dedicated to children - " March of the dolls ", " Child and ice ",
" Game", " Dance ", " Sheep ", " Conflict ".
Romances dedicated to patriotism theme - "Olkəm", "Sual".
